Thanks to everyone who came out to attend the Collingswood Book Festival on October 7th! Despite the weather -- which moved the event indoors, to the local high school -- we had a great time and I got to meet some terrific people. I was amazed by the number of exhibitors and the range of titles that were on display -- the place was packed, spilling out into the halls and covering the floors of both gymnasiums from wall to wall. I could easily have spent the bulk of the day exploring what the other tables had to offer. Early on, I did get to spend some time chatting with a few authors and buying their books for later reading. But soon the doors opened to the public and we were busy at our own table, meeting all the interesting and fun folks who came by to talk and share their love of books.
My heartfelt thanks to all my friends, family and fellow authors for coming out to support the official "launch" of Heart of Stone at the Festival. We had a very successful day, selling out all the copies of the book we had brought, and hopefully creating some new fans of Kyra's adventures.
It was so nice to meet you!
